Important Notes

  • Performance returns are calculated based on the change in unit price for the period stated, plus any applicable tax credits an investor is able to use to offset their taxable income. The returns are reported after deduction of management fees and investment fund expenses and excluding portfolio investor entity tax attributable to investors.
  • Past performance is not indicative of future performance. Returns can be negative as well as positive. Investments in any of the funds are subject to investment risk, including possible delays in repayment and loss of income and principal invested.
  • Returns represent compounded annual total return expressed as a percentage.
  • No account is taken of initial selling (entry) fees.
  • As outlined in the Super Scheme and  Unit Trusts Investment Statements, investments should be based on the investor's risk/return profile and investment time horizon.
  • The performance of the above products is not guaranteed by any member of the ANZ National Bank Limited Group, ING Managed Funds (NZ) Limited or Public Trust. Applications for investment will only be accepted on the Application form contained in the Investment Statement.
  • On 1 October 2007, the Thoroughbred Unit Trusts, Education Fund, Thoroughbred Super Scheme and National Bank KiwiSaver Scheme elected to become portfolio investment entities (PIEs). As PIE performance is reported on a pre-tax, after fees basis, the performance returns for these funds prior to 1 October 2007 have been recalculated on this basis to provide a consistent base for comparison.
