The National Bank Trust Management service offers a specialist trust management service for customers who hold funds on behalf of their clients. Our service enables customers (Trust Managers) to manage their own pool of clients through a National Bank trust account. Client funds may be deposited in National Bank call accounts or term deposits.

The Trust Management service meets the legal requirements for professional bodies whose members hold funds in trust for clients.

What Our Trust Management Service Offers

The Trust Management service will:

  • Maintain funds separately in separately identified accounts and term deposits
  • Calculate and pay interest for each individual trust client
  • Calculate and charge (as instructed by the Trust Manager) relevant taxes and charges
  • Transfer funds back to the Trust Manager’s trust account, upon instruction
  • Report tax
  • Complete most reporting and audit requirements for the Trust Manager
  • Restrict access to Trust Management information and financial transactions, and ensure maintenance is conducted by authorised staff only.
